HPS has been awarded the 2017 Design for Health Award by Health 2.0 and Mad*Pow

MILWAUKEE (Jul. 25, 2017) – Health Payment Systems (HPS) was nationally
recognized as the winner of the 2017 Health 2.0 “Design for Health” contest. The
Milwaukee-based company's SuperEOB® solution to simplifying complicated health care
billing and insurance benefits was the only winner selected from this year’s 20+ received
entries. The contest, hosted by Health 2.0 in conjunction with Mad*Pow, acknowledges
those in the health care technology space that offer products and services that improve
the experience of health.

HPS’ SuperEOB is a technology-based solution that offers “one statement, one
payment, and one place to call.” It consolidates a consumer’s healthcare bills and
explanation of benefits into one, well-designed statement, enabling consumers the
convenience of making only one payment for all providers on the statement. For health
systems who invest in implementing this innovative way of billing, it has been proven to
enhance the patient experience by removing confusion regarding healthcare bills and
related healthcare claims, while improving the health system’s patient collections and net
revenue.

“We are honored to be acknowledged by Health 2.0 in this national health care design
contest,” said Terry Rowinski, president and COO, Health Payment Systems. “This
award further proves that our service provides a vital and important solution in the health
care industry. We mitigate consumer stress and time associated with healthcare
expenses, while driving down the healthcare cost trend for the overall market.”

Health 2.0 is the premiere showcase and catalyst for the advancement of new health
technologies. Through conferences, code-a-thons and prize challenges, they seek to
gather and elevate thought-leaders in the health technology space so that the
experience of health care can continue to evolve for the betterment of patients.
