Each month we spotlight an HPS employee so you can get to know the team that’s helping to fix a broken healthcare system.
This month we’d like you to meet Kia Her, Client Engagement Manager.
What do you do in your role at HPS?
I am a Client Engagement Manager at HPS. I serve as the point of contact for our Employers. I help to resolve escalating issues that an employer may have. I also work with vendor partners educating employers and their employees about their benefit offerings.
How long have you worked at HPS?
I have been with HPS for 8 years. I started on the Operations team and learned a lot about the ins and outs of how things work together. I shifted into Client Engagement about 2 years ago.
What’s your favorite thing about working at HPS?
The people! We are truly a family, and everyone is always willing to lend a hand whether at work, in the community or in our personal lives.
If you were granted one superpower, what would it be and why?
The superpower I would want is the power to heal any sickness so that no one has to lose a loved one because of an incurable disease.
Where is your hometown and what is one thing you love about it?
My hometown is Madison, Wisconsin. This is where I made all my childhood memories and where most of my family still lives.
If you could have any view from your back porch, what would it be?
I would want to see the ocean. Looking at the ocean gives me a sense of peace and calm.
